Sire - Dusty

CH Logo's Trials N Tribulations

Sire: CH Sanlyn's T-Bone Walker, ROM

Dam: CH Logo's Eternal Spirit

Breeder: Gretchen Shelby, Logo Bassets

Dusty is a large boned type male, 74 lbs. at show weight. His temperment is outstanding. He is accepting of all dogs coming and going at our home including rescue dogs who are sometimes very needy emotionally. He befriends them right away. Dusty especially loves ear rubs (He will purr for this.) and.....licking your ears. People who visit find him in their laps within a nano-second. Dusty's only annoying habit is pressing his toes against the door when you exit, which makes it hard to get back in. Personally, I think her finds this funny.

His show career has been limited as he finished his Championship in a minimal number of shows. Wins include: Best Puppy in Sweepstakes, a specialty Reserve Winner Dog over 40 entries, and Winner's Dog/Best of Winner's over 46 dogs at BHCA Western Regional Specialty. Logo Bassets is very proud of this fine boy.

Dam - Cookie

CH Oakrydge Cookies 'N Cream

Sire: CH Hartland's What's Cooking

Dam: Oakrydge Grace Under Fire (11 conformation points)

Breeder: Jacqi Marvich, Oakrydge Bassets

Cookie is a real love who is happy to be close to you and snuggle. She wears her heart on a sleeve and makes friends wherever she goes. She will always hold a special place in our hearts here at Oakrydge Bassets.

Cookie was finished from the bred by exhibitor classes with the exception of a few points from puppy classes. She always placed well at specialties, but had her best wins at all breed shows, often going best of winners.

Cookie is now retired to relax and enjoy life. She has been adopted by a wonderful family near Portland. Her new family includes: three and a half year old Bogie, a boy basset who needed a sister, Gloria, her new mom who is a former teacher and is now a stay at home basset slave, Doug, her new dad who is assistant slave and works for the Oregonian and a whole bunch of wonderful family members and friends that she will charm and love. Cookie already has them under her spell.

Q

Now that you've met all the newest kids on the block....check out the puppies at play.

Murphy is taking a break under his favorite tree.

Dusty Rose

Kara and Josh want out to play, while Dusty Rose surveys all that is going on.

Doesn't Nathan know that if you stand on your ear you can't go very far??

Nathan hides his treasures under the ramp and Sugar enjoys a stick.

Playing in the puppy pen can be messy!

Augusta and Dusty Rose don't mind playing with a ball that is bigger than they are.

Sisters make the best playmates.
